FFF members started organizing around individual cases. We would go beyond the courts - where judges' hands typically were tied and we could seek no justice - and to the lawmakers, community leaders and prosecutors that had the power to stop a deportation. From years of case campaigning, we saw patterns and developed two collective campaigns to benefit the vast majority of our families:
